W3- A difficult day at work

About 2 years ago, I was working for a hotel in Queenstown New Zealand. It is a big hotel especially during the winter season, many people stay here for skiing or snowboarding. They ski in the daytime and party in the night time. I was a housekeeper. Every workday I had to clean the room, serve the clients and keep the hotel tidy. Sometimes you get tips, food or beer when they check out. sometime you get a dirty room you need to clean a long time, then you think what the hell with these people, especially after last night`s party.

One morning, as usual I started to doing the same thing in the housekeeping. When I started to do the first room there was an outrageous  thing happened in this room. Everything was broken. Mirrors, the LCD TV, the Microwave, plates, glasses. Everything that could be broken was all broken. I told the manager this and she told me that "come back to clean it later start in another room first because there will a big group of guests arriving today. You have to finish cleaning before 3pm. I will find someone to help you and I have to report this first."  Then I start to clean the second one, but when I went in to the room I saw the same thing, then I told the manager again. Finally the third rooms were more like normal people check-out type, but it already 9:30. I did not finish one room and I still had 10 rooms needed to clear and 10 rooms need to be serviced. It meat I had to finish one room in 20 minutes. It could not be possible. But I still tried as quickly as I could.

Finally I finish cleaning and services the 20 rooms. It was already 3pm. Then  I wanted to go back to start cleaning the two dirty rooms. They were still dirty, for sure, no one helped me, then I call the manager she said she already reported it but forget to find someone to help me to clean them. After 10 min, she came here, and then told me because the guests had a big party last night and they were too noisy that affected the other guests so the reception called the police last night and turned them out. Now we will charge them a damage fee and cleaning fee, so you have to remember what time you started to clean and when you finished, and how many people cleaned those two rooms, ok ? After the manager left, we started to clean those rooms. When we finished the rooms it already 6pm and I was so tired. What a day.
