W7- An unpleasant Holiday

Last Saturday was a lovely sunny day. There was blue sky and breeze. That day, there was the Brisbane Zombie Walk 2013. I were too late to know about this event so I missed the ticket sale. When I saw the news from the web site, ticket and T-shirts had already sold out. But there was still The Walk and began at 3 p.m, so I chose to join the walk.

The Brisbane Zombie Walk is an annual event helping to raise funding and awareness for The Brain Foundation of Australia whilst offering the public a unique and entertaining charity event. On the morning, I were so excited to join this walk. Before this walk, I walked around Queest st. mall to have look around and tried to find something interesting thing, maybe to help me to join The Walk. Then I saw the sunday market in the Square next to Brisbane Library. There were many hawkers sell many different thing like clothes, books or handmade items and it was really cheap. I bought a T-shit and short jeans for  just $4 dollars. That`s a good deal. After shopping, I went to join the Walk.

The Walk started 3 pm from RNA Showgrounds followed Gregory Terrace to Victoria Park then returned to the showgrounds. When I arrived there The Walk already started. People dressed like Zombies. This year, they introduced the ‘Carnival of the Dead’ to celebrate the freaks, the ghoulish and the bizarre. You can see the people dressed as many different types of freaks like Strap in yer Eyeballs, chinese Zombies, the film Nightmare Before Christmas Jack,  child like Dracula etc. It was really fun. I was enjoying the Walk with them on the street and took a lot of photos.  Then when I went back to the station I just realized where are my clothes? I lost them!!! In that bag there was a very important notebook and a pen was gone as well. And I can not remember where I lost it. I were so sad and tried to find it. I walked back to look around 3 times and still could not find it. The notebook has the my memory of those years. And the pen, it had stayed with me already for 9 years. I really liked this pen. But it`s gone. I am really sad about the notebook and pen. I was happy to join the Walk on the morning, now I was sad. It`s an unpleasant holiday.
